The Head of International Artist Services will lead the strategic development and operational execution for selected artists on an international scale. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the music industry strong management skills & networks and a passion for artist development. You will be responsible for building and managing a lean international marketing project management team with professionals based in the US Asia and Europe. You will oversee a roster of artists expanding their regional or global reach and driving impactful campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Build lead and inspire a diverse team of International EMP and Marketing Project Managers across the US Asia and Europe.
- Define and communicate the vision for international artist development in alignment with Believes strategic objectives.
- Set clear expectations provide regular feedback and support professional growth within the team
- Foster a culture of collaboration innovation and inclusion.
- Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure varied perspectives and innovative approaches.
Artist Development
- Oversee the development and execution of personalized artist development plans for the international Artist Services roster.
- Ensure highquality support for selected artists including audience development strategies whiteglove campaigns and promo & marketing plans in export countries.
- Develop and create a network of strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance market penetration and artist exposure.
- Localize marketing and promotional strategies to resonate with diverse global audiences.
- Provide full visibility to all artists as part of the international imprint ensuring robust reporting and alignment with internal stakeholders.
Strategic Vision & Innovation
- Stay ahead of industry trends digital innovations and platform updates to proactively enhance Believes offerings.
- Introduce cuttingedge marketing tools and tactics to elevate international campaigns.
- Align international strategies with regional teams to ensure consistency and efficiency across all markets.
Revenue and Cost Management
- Develop and manage the budget (revenue and cost) for the international Artist Services team.
- Monitor financial performance and make datadriven decisions to optimize resources.
- Oversee tracking systems for campaign performance metrics costs and revenues ensuring robust financial reporting.
Stakeholder Management & Representation
- Act as the key liaison between the central Artist Services team and regional/local market teams ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
- Represent Believe at highprofile industry events to build relationships with external stakeholders including platforms media and key industry leaders.
Operational Excellence
- Streamline processes and leverage technology to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop protocols for managing risks crises or challenges during international campaigns.
Qualifications :
- Extensive experience & network in the music industry particularly in artist development and international markets for mainstream crossover & electronic music.
- Proven track record of building international network and motivating highperforming teams across multiple regions.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing multimarket marketing strategies for artists or brands.
- Deep understanding of cultural nuances and consumer behavior across key territories (US Asia Europe).
- Familiarity with marketing technology stacks data analytics and reporting tools to track campaign performance.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities with a focus on achieving longterm goals.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing largescale budgets across regions with a focus on maximizing ROI.
- Advanced degree in Business Marketing or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Passion for music and a commitment to supporting artists growth and success.
