Job Type: Locum Tenens

Location: Laredo TX

Service Setting: Emergency Department

Coverage Type: Clinical Only

Coverage Period: February 18 2025 June 30 2025

Schedule Type: Flexible Schedule

Job Description

Hiring Nurse Practitioners and Physicians specializing in Emergency Medicine to provide highquality patientcentered care in a fastpaced environment.

Responsibilities Include:

Delivering comprehensive medical care to emergency patients.

Performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within scope.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient management.

Handling highstress situations with quick and accurate clinical decisions.

Requirements:

For Nurse Practitioners:

Advanced Practice certification (ANCC AANP or equivalent).

Experience in emergency or critical care settings is preferred.

For Physicians:

Board Certification/Eligibility in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or other accepted specialty.

Active medical license and DEA registration.

Advanced certifications (ACLS ATLS PALS) are mandatory.

Schedule Flexibility:

Coverage required across shifts to accommodate the Emergency Departments 24/7 operations.

Physicians and Nurse Practitioners may choose flexible schedules based on availability and department needs.
