About the Role
We are seeking an experienced detailoriented Accountant with a Masters degree in Accounting and a strong background in financial management tax compliance and reporting. This parttime position is ideal for professionals proficient in German accounting standards (HGB) VAT regulations and financial operations. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records ensuring compliance and optimizing accounting processes within a dynamic international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daytoday accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports statements and reconciliations in compliance with German financial regulations.
- Manage VAT filings tax compliance and regulatory reporting.
- Assist with budgeting financial planning and forecasting.
- Ensure accurate and timely ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
- Optimize accounting workflows and reporting structures.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to support business decisions.
Who You Are
- Qualifications: Masters degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Experience: Proven work experience in accounting or finance preferably within the German market.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) tax laws and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP DATEV or QuickBooks.
- Language: Fluent in German (mandatory written and spoken) basic English proficiency required.
- Work Setup: Ability to work from Canggu Bali or remotely depending on business needs.
