Job Description
As a Java Microservices Engineer you will:
- Design develop and maintain robust and scalable applications using Java 8 or higher Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Work on endtoend development including postgolive maintenance and support.
- Develop and integrate Web Services (REST/SOAP) while ensuring secure and highperformance solutions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline setup and management.
- Work with Git Maven Jenkins and Docker to streamline the development lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile development methodologies contributing to sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives.
- Engage directly with customers and stakeholders to provide technical guidance and solutions.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 10 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java Spring Boot and Microservices.
- Expertise in Web Services (REST/SOAP) Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and Git concepts.
- Handson experience with Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE Maven Jenkins and Docker.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and business users effectively.
You Should Possess the Ability To:
- Work independently with minimal supervision in a fastpaced Agile environment.
- Take ownership of endtoend development including deployment and postproduction support.
- Adapt quickly to new technologies and frameworks including BTT.
- Leverage banking domain knowledge (if available) to enhance application functionality.
- Utilize tools like Ansible Kibana and Kafka to improve system reliability and monitoring.
- Develop applications in a Linuxbased environment efficiently.
