Job Description
Job Title: IT Manager Ecommerce (Technical Data Security Data Management & Data Collection)
Experience Required: 5 years in IT management preferably within the ecommerce industry
Employment Type: FullTime
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and manage the technical infrastructure data security and data management systems within our fastpaced ecommerce environment. The ideal candidate will oversee IT operations ensure data integrity and security and develop strategies for efficient data collection and utilization. They will work closely with crossfunctional teams to drive technological innovation and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the IT infrastructure including servers networks cloud services and hardware/software systems.
- Ensure high availability scalability and security of ecommerce platforms and applications.
- Collaborate with development teams for website performance optimization and system integration.

Data Security & Compliance:
- Develop and implement data security policies to protect sensitive customer and business information.
- Monitor cybersecurity threats and take preventive measures including firewalls encryption and access controls.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA).

Data Management & Analytics:
- Design and maintain data storage solutions ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Manage databases including backups recovery and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with data analysts to provide actionable insights through data visualization and reporting.

Data Collection & Utilization:
- Implement and oversee data collection strategies for customer behavior sales trends and marketing analytics.
- Ensure accurate data capturing from multiple ecommerce platforms and digital channels.
- Utilize data analytics tools to support business decisions and marketing campaigns.

IT Support & Troubleshooting:
- Lead the IT support team to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Ensure minimal downtime and provide technical support to internal teams.
- Develop and enforce IT policies including user access data sharing and remote work guidelines.

Vendor & Budget Management:
- Manage relationships with thirdparty vendors and service providers.
- Plan and manage the IT budget ensuring costeffectiveness and resource optimization.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in ecommerce and IT.

Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 5 years of experience in IT management with a focus on ecommerce platforms.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) and cybersecurity.
- Experience with data management systems analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics Power BI) and databases (SQL NoSQL).
- Proven expertise in data security compliance and risk management.
- Excellent problemsolving leadership and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a fastpaced ecommerce or technologydriven environment.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to technological innovation.
