Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Azure AI Engineer to join our team. Y ou will collaborate closely with a crossfunctional team of engineers and technical product managers to enhance our platform with AIpowered features transforming how our customers engage with our services. In this role you will develop and integrate Azure AI services into our existing applications making a tangible impact on the customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop deploy and support Azure AI software components.
- Monitor maintain and optimize AI applications for performance and scalability.
- Integrate AI capabilities into applications leveraging Azure AI Services.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align AI solutions with organizational goals.
- Staying up to date on AI trends and ethical considerations such as data privacy and mitigating bias in AI systems
- Develop and maintain microservice APIs using C# and dot Net.
- Develop and maintain our frontend React application
- Develop and maintain our crossplatform MAUI mobile apps.
- Participate in weekly releases.
- Mentor junior software developers by advocating for best practices.
- Perform code reviews.
- Meet weekly with team to discuss ongoing projects.
- Extend and document changes to existing subsystems as needed.
Requirements
- 6 years of experience.
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.
- C# / .NET.
- RESTful APIs.
- SQL and/or nonrelational databases.
- Handson experience with Azure AI services (Search Vision Speech Vision and Docs).
- Familiarity with the latest trends in AI and machine learning.
- Experience with large language models (LLMs) and vector databases.
- Knowledge of data governance security and AI compliance standards in Azure.
- Experience with microservice architecture.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Expertise in building secure scalable enterprise systems.
- Strong communication skills for explaining AI concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
- Azure AI Certification.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Azure Functions / Service Bus / Event Hubs.
- CI/CD pipelines Azure DevOps.
- NoSQL Databases MongoDB & Cosmos.
- Dapper or other microORM.
- React or other modern JavaScript framework.
- SQL or other relational database.
- Docker Kubernetes or Container Apps.
- Experience with Azure Application Insights.
- Experience with database schema design and query optimization.
