Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer / Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role blends technical expertise with project delivery requiring a highly competent engineer who can also assist with scoping and solution design. You will work closely with clients and account managers to define project requirements create detailed work plans and oversee implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients and internal teams to scope and design tailored solutions.
- Develop and deliver projects including Azure and private cloud migrations Microsoft 365 security uplifts SharePoint implementations and network infrastructure upgrades.
- Configure and deploy Microsoft Intune and Autopilot solutions.
- Lead security hardening projects including data loss prevention conditional access and multifactor authentication.
- Collaborate with the solutions team to architect and implement solutions aligned with our technology stack.
- Provide technical leadership within the projects team without formal management duties.
- Work alongside Glenn and other senior engineers as a subject matter expert.
Technology Stack & Requirements:
- Operating Systems: Windows Server () Microsoft 365 Azure.
- Cloud & Virtualization: Azure AWS VMware.
- Networking: Fortigate Unifi Aruba Cisco Palo Alto (preferred but not essential).
- Security: SentinelOne Arctic Wolf Microsoft Defender.
- Monitoring & Automation: Roost Central LineGuard PRTG.
- Storage & Backup: Veeam S3 (Wasabi AWS Azure) onprem SAN/NAS.
Requirements
What We re Looking For:
- Proven MSP experience with exposure to mediumtolarge scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure M365 security networking and cloud technologies.
- Ability to scope and design solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
- Experience in project delivery methodologies and financial aspects of project execution.
- Relevant certifications (AZ104 AZ900 SC300 Microsoft Certified Associate Fortinet VMware) are highly desirable.
- A problemsolving mindset with a proactive autonomous approach.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders.
