Job Description:
Are you an experienced IT professional with a keen eye for compliance and regulation Join us as an IT Compliance Officer and play a crucial role in ensuring our organizations IT systems and processes adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop implement and maintain IT compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant laws regulations and standards (e.g. GDPR HIPAA ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on IT compliance matters.
- Monitor and report on compliance issues and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
- Stay uptodate with changes in IT compliance regulations and standards.
- Ensure data privacy and security measures are in place and effective.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT compliance auditing or a related field.
- Indepth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g. GDPR HIPAA ISO 27001).
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in IT compliance or auditing (e.g. CISA CISSP) is preferred.
