Job Description
Backend Equipment Technician perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in nonfunctioning equipment used in Backend Process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides Manufacturing and Equipment support needs in a rapidly changing development and high volume manufacturing environment.
- Dismantles adjusts repairs and assembles equipment according to schematics repair manuals or specifications.
- Performs preventive maintenance repairs and troubleshooting diagnosis on production equipment.
- Resolves nonstandard problems works with minimal supervision and can adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
- Must be a selfstarter capable of managing own activities as well as supporting team activities.
- Works with Engineering to support new equipment installations and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
REQUIRED:
- Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics
PREFERRED:
- Proficient at troubleshooting electrical mechanical pneumatic and PC software/hardware related issues.
- Ability to use schematics hand tools electrical gauges and common test equipment for calibration diagnosis and repair of equipment.
- Ability to understand PLC system.
- Ability to use vision system will be an added advantage.
- Selfmotivator; ability to work independently under general guidance and direction.
- High level attention to detail with methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management
- Provide leadership to other technicians through training and mentorship.
- Drive solutions and guidelines by recommending and writing maintenance procedures.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with peers engineering and managers.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance diagnose root cause and drive factory improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of Auto VMI Auto Labeling and Auto Packing equipment/process would be an added advantage.
