We are currently seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for our partner a leading B2B luxury marketplace keep reading!
Your Mission
As our Senior Engineering Leader you will play a crucial role in our mission collaborating closely with our business stakeholders lead teams to architect and launch groundbreaking new offerings on our platform. Your expertise will be instrumental in adapting the next generation of industryleading solutions transforming how the marketplaceis bought and sold online.
The Role:
- Impact & Delivery : Drive the expansion category offerings on our platform and mobile app. Build a high performing Team that aligns Companys business objectives.
- People Management and : Mentor Managers / Tech leads and retain talent foster growth plans at each level of the team and define measure and own key metrics for team performance and Goals
- Tech influence: Build solutions and own the Technical Direction and decisions alongside the Tech Leads
- Strategy and Leadership: Spearhead translating Business requirements to Tech solutions strategise long term Engineering Initiatives and own Staffing requirements.
- Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration: Build strong stakeholder relationships influence senior leaders and collaborate effectively across departments to drive initiatives.
- Organisational Wide Impact: Contribute to the wider team engineering culture including developing best practices coding standards and quality guidelines to be adhered to throughout the development lifecycle
- Drive with Business Acumen: Leverage expertise to improve Customer Touch points and ability to make decisions aligned with the companys vision and contributing to strategic growth.
- Innovation : Stay abreast of emerging technologies to inform decisionmaking and ensure the engineering teams remain competitive
What they need:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 4 years of management and proven experience as a manager of managers and technical leads with a strong track record of leading successful projects from inception to delivery.
- Experience with building Ecommerce Marketplace Solutions or Products would be a bonus.
- Proficiency in System Architecture and Design with knowledge of data stores.
- Good understanding of cloud Technologies (AWS) and streaming data tools such as Kafka microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience in leading crossfunctional projects and proficiency in project management process and techniques such as Staff planning executing and monitoring projects.
- Experience in leading and mentoring teams and driving them toward big goals with consistent execution
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to succinctly explain deep technical concepts effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders
- Experience leading Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Excellent problemsolving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
