Job Description
TF Bank in Germany is part of the Northern European banking group TF Bank AB which was founded in 1987 and has more than 450 employees throughout Europe.
The Legal Department is responsible for all legal matters both strategic and daytoday business in connection with the banking products offered and the corporate strategy. The Legal Department safeguards the legal interests of TF Bank Group by ensuring compliance with laws and regulations in its operations and balancing all legal risks in the banks business activities.
We are looking for a working student (m/f/d) to join our local Legal Department in Berlin as soon as possible. You can look forward to an open inclusive corporate culture with flat hierarchies with no dress code in the dynamic environment of the banking industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of our contract lifecycle management system.
- Support handling legal disputes including collecting and compiling relevant information and preparing extrajudicial letters.
- Assist in drafting and revising internal policies instructions and guidelines.
- Coordinate and align with internal stakeholders from various departments.
- Conduct research on specific legal questions.
- Help develop and implement trainings and communication measures.
- Support special projects based on your interests such as AI governance or data protection.
Qualifications and Experience
- You are currently studying Law Business Law or a comparable study.
- You have a general knowledge of German civil law; some knowledge of banking law is an advantage.
- Prior experience or internships in a legal or financial setting is a plus.
- You are interested in the financial sector and enjoy exploring new topics and areas of law.
- You work carefully precisely and reliably.
- You are fluent in German and have excellent English skills both written and spoken.
