Project Description
The goal of this activity is to provide support to governmentled education systems to strengthen these and incentivize greater ownership of and investment in the education sector by the Government of the Republic of South Sudan (GRSS) to help strengthen the social contract and build functioning education institutions to enable future development.
Position Description
The Programs Director is responsible for the execution and delivery of program activities and managing teams to ensure delivery of quality implementation. The Programs Director will ensure that all teams (namely Monitoring and Evaluation Finance and Administration and Operations and Logistics) actively support timely and accurate project reporting and cost effectiveness. S/he will also be responsible for compliance to donors rules and regulations.
This position is contingent upon award by the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office of the Government of the United Kingdom.
Qualifications :
Education:
A minimum of a masters degree in project management or any relevant field.
Skills and Experience:
Language:
Fluency in oral and written English is required.
