Job Description
1. Areas of Responsibility (Key Result Areas)
- Own and drive product innovation/renovation development process.
- Develop long term product and packaging development road map consistent with the product strategy and plans.
- Ensure innovation C optimisation delivery in respect of product and packaging development.
- Owner of the innovation (stage gate) process.
- Associate closely with the marketing team in getting the right consumer insights to aid product development.
- Continuously benchmark the competing and new products in the market for functionality and costs. Replicate or upgrade products as appropriate.
- Drive cost reduction projects with Purchase and Marketing to deliver product margins.
- Develop short term as well as long term road map for cuisine study and recipe research C development consistent with the product strategy and plans
