Job Description
Job Title: IT Auditor (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audits of IT systems applications and infrastructure to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assess the effectiveness of IT controls identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate the organizations cybersecurity posture and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Analyze and test system access data security and disaster recovery protocols.
- Document audit findings and prepare clear concise reports for management.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to design and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance with ITrelated regulatory standards such as SOX GDPR or ISO 27001.
- Stay updated on emerging IT risks trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Accounting or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISA CRISC CISSP or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Experience in IT auditing or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g. COBIT NIST ISO).
- Proficiency in evaluating IT systems cybersecurity measures and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in cloud environments (e.g. AWS Azure).
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and compliance standards.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
