Job Description

To strengthen our Finance team we are looking for a Financial Administrator who is interested in joining a fastgrowing and innovative company that is sustainable by nature with a team that is dedicated to making an impact.

You will be based in Rotterdam and/or Amsterdam; our other offices are located in Athens and Singapore. Tasks
At Value Maritime we have short communication lines and this role reports to the Financial Manager youll be a great and first addition to our current Finance team consisting of 1.
We are seeking a (Junior) Financial Administrator with the potential to excel in managing financial transactions. In this role youll play a crucial part in ensuring accuracy compliance and timely payments within our organization.
- Manage inbound and outbound invoices ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with internal departments for invoice approvals and issuance to clients.
- Proactively reminding managers for timely approvals improving our payment processes.
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions in preparation for implementation of a new ERP system.
- Enter financial data accurately and timely into existing systems.
- Assist in migrating financial data to a new ERP.
- Generate financial reports to provide insights into company performance.
- Stay updated on financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- Proven experience in financial administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft office tools especially Excel
- Familiarity with financial management systems
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data processing
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards
- Problemsolving skills
- Availability to work from the Amsterdam office on occasion
