Your responsibilities
Are you a Procurement Officer looking for an exciting opportunity to work on the procurement of scholarly publishing services in an international environment Are you a creative thinker and a problem solver excited by the idea of building new strategies to help promote open science Are you a strong communicator with some experience negotiating in ambiguous situations If so we invite you to take part in the activities related to CERN procurement and contribute to our mission.
You will join the Procurement and Industrial Services Group (PI) which is responsible for procuring all supplies and services for the Organization ensuring that the specified and contractual technical delivery and performance requirements are met at the lowest possible overall cost whilst achieving balanced industrial returns for CERN Member States and respecting CERN Procurement Rules. You will work on a range of topics with a focus on procurement and contracts for scholarly publishing services.
