Job Description

Job Title: Site Foreman

Location: Bulle Fribourg Switzerland

Job Type: Permanent Contract

Job Description: Are you a skilled and experienced Site Foreman looking for an exciting opportunity in the construction industry Join our dynamic team and help drive our projects to success!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Preparation and Organization: Collaborate with the project manager to prepare and organize the construction site.

  • Resource Management: Evaluate the needs for personnel machinery and materials.

  • Team Coordination: Manage and coordinate the distribution of activities within your team.

  • Reporting: Prepare work reports and establish timesheets for your team.

  • Team Spirit: Ensure a positive team spirit and adherence to company values.

  • Collaboration: Foster and coordinate collaboration among various stakeholders on the construction sites.

  • Diverse Tasks: Perform various tasks under the responsibility of the operations manager.


Requirements

Ideal Profile:

  • Qualifications: Federal Certificate of Foreman Mason with at least 3 years of experience in Switzerland in "pure" construction (masonry concrete structural work and optionally civil engineering with knowledge of Swiss standards); or Team Leader Certificate with at least 5 years of experience in Switzerland in "pure" construction.

  • Location: Residing within a maximum radius of 30 km from the engagement site (Vuadens).

  • Safety and Quality: Sensitivity to workplace safety and quality measures.

  • Leadership Skills: Strong managerial skills to lead teams of up to 15 people.

  • Communication: Excellent communicator and team leader.

  • Technical Skills: Comfortable with IT tools and operational management of construction sites.

Languages Required:

  • French: Fluent (Daily use)

Travel:

  • Required for this position within the canton of Fribourg as well as the Lake Geneva region and Lower Valais.
