The Director of Revenue & Distribution is responsible for working with the Revenue Management team in determining strategic goals and tactical efforts which drive revenue to the hotel. The Director of Revenue & Distribution is then responsible for ensuring that inventory allocation and pricing parameters are positioned to support the overall revenue goals of the hotel. This role serves as the objective decision maker that ensures the best interest of profitability is served in the overall hotel as well as ensuring the integrity of rates and longterm customer investment.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maximizes hotel RevPAR through a thorough understanding of all booking channels and management of inventory and rate therein.
- Leads strategic planning and collaborates with all hotel profit generation teams to actively seek opportunities to drive incremental profit for Rooms F&B Spas and other revenue streams.
- Provides relevant information and recommendations to the Director of Sales and General Manager in the decisionmaking process of promotion participation offline contracts and pricing thereof
- Closely monitor competitive pricing and understand the impact of relative pricing decisions on property performance
- Leverages Revenue Management analytics technologies processes tools and training programs to optimize hotel profits.

- Utilize datadriven insights to forecast revenue occupancy and average daily rate (ADR) to meet or exceed budgeted goals.
- Produce all relevant components of the Budget pertaining to Revenue Management
- Understanding the 360degree process in forecasting the revenuebased strategies
- Responsible for completion of all rooms and revenue forecasting budgeting and planning to accurately project unconstrained demand and hotel performance in collaboration with the DOSM Director of Finance Hotel Manager and the Regional team
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree and/or Hotel Management degree and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of revenue management experience or at least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of forecasting and interpreting/analyzing results to plan and conducting budgetary analysis.
- Strong organizational skills including follow up time management ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
