Commis
This position is responsible for maintaining high standards of food preparation and service in the appointed kitchen(s) according to the standards set by Executive Chef in line with the hotel brand standards.
- To ensure that all stocks are kept under optimum conditions and rotation is managed according to company standards. As well as anticipated shortages and communicated promptly to the Demi Chefs Chef de Parties and Sous Chefs for the arrangement.
- Is aware of and adheres to all Pullman Maldives Maamutaa procedures for security measures fire health and safety.
- Apply necessary precautions with regards to the resort food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
Qualifications :
Knowledge and Experience
- Diploma or equivalent qualifications with additional certification(s) in Culinary will be an advantage.
- Good reading writing and oral proficiency in English language.
- Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
- Past hospitality / tourism experience of working in Maldives preferred.
