Job Brief: As a Senior Supply Chain Manager you will oversee and manage the endtoend supply
chain operations ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the flow of goods resources and
information. You will work closely with various departments to optimize supply chain processes and
achieve organizational goals. The role is to manage the function for a US company with import and
distribution of material into US from global suppliers. The position is based out of India.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet business objectives.
Manage procurement production inventory control distribution and transportation activities.
Lead and coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics and KPIs.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks or issues within the supply chain.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance to senior management.
Mentor and develop a team of supply chain professionals.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field; MBA
preferred.
Proven experience in supply chain management preferably in a multinational company.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes including procurement logistics and inventory
management.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
