Job Description

The Senior Sales Analyst Incentive Compensation (IC) Migraine and Psych is responsible for playing a key role in developing and managing a motivational sales incentive program throughout the Migraine and Psych organization that is aligned to each businesss strategic objectives.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to modeling compensation plans running and validating supportive analyses creating compensation programs that align with business strategies and ensuring accuracy in all deliverables to internal and external colleagues. Respond timely and accurately to field sales inquiries and work closely with sales and marketing teams and all internal departments. Develop communications including Word documents PowerPoint presentations and Excel files.

Key Responsibilities:

Consulting

  • Responsibilities include planning design analysis implementation communications administration and validation of all sales incentive programs inclusive of contest and kickers.
  • Develop incentive programs based on identified marketing and commercial strategies available resources and overarching incentive program design.
  • Provide guidance and support in the development of special incentives.
  • Aid in managing and working closely with compensation processing vendor including project management incentive validation change implementation and reporting.  Individual works closely with field sales sales management marketing marketing analytics and business insights forecasting sales reporting and Executive Leadership in all aspects of field incentives to ensure program elements are aligned with corporate objectives the programs are fair equitable motivating and valid.
  • Leads field sales Recognition program including budget administration and communication. Works closely with the Recognition program vendor to ensure the program requirements and timelines are adhered to and are accurate.
  • Work closely with the reporting team to understand and assist with data reporting needs. 
  • Ensure that upcoming franchisespecific changes are communicated in a timely manner to the outside vendor team.
  • Validate and approve franchisespecific results from ongoing operations (attainments payouts eligibility etc.).

Analytics

  • Individual must proactively perform regular analysis of IC results to proactively identify areas of improvement and opportunity for increased motivational value.  Must analyze impact of changes in franchisespecific sales trends and how market events and overall strategies may impact performance and IC results. Individual will host field sales taskforce meetings/office hours to continually discuss analyze and refine programs to reinforce desired behavior. 
  • Support in the administration of sales incentives such as Summit and SPIFFs and creates and develops reports for these programs. Ability to analyze programs.
  • Develop reporting analysis and insights which guide business decision making.
  • Provide direct support to Leadership and field personnel to respond to incentive questions and perform investigations.

Communication

  • Develop communication materials for Leadership that effectively communicates the incentive program in a clear motivational way.
  • Leading New Hire Training

Qualifications :

Education

  • BA/BS degree required or equivalent experience advanced degree preferred
  • 24 years of previous work experience in sales compensation sales operations or analytics

Background

  • Confidence in providing subject matter expertise to Stakeholders
  • Understanding of field sales activities roles and behaviors preferred.
  • Excellent written verbal and presentation skills.

  • Ability to clearly and confidently articulate complex and difficult concepts. 
  • Ability to develop and deliver training and communications.
  • Public speaking ability addressing groups of a few to several hundred.
  • Excellent business acumen understanding of basic corporate finance and financial analysis concepts.
  • Understanding and experience working directly with pharmaceutical sales data sources.
  • Ability to rapidly apply mathematical concepts to assess and respond to verbal questions or proposals.
  • Ability to thrive in a team and matrixed environment.
  • Ability to develop and execute innovative creative solutions.
  • Exceptional process project and resource management skills with consistent ability to meet and exceed agreed upon timelines.
  • Organizationally savvy.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Results oriented.

Travel

  • Up to 15%

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

  • This job is eligible to participate in our shortterm incentive programs.
