About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Material Planner to join our Material Planning team. In this role you will ensure the timely and efficient management and distribution of materials essential for Enpals core operations. This is a critical position for a detailoriented professional with a strong grasp of supply chain management procurement processes and inventory control in the renewable energy sector.
The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring the availability of materials at the right time and place to support seamless operations. This role requires meticulous inventory monitoring effective stakeholder coordination and proactive problemsolving to mitigate risks related to material shortages or surpluses. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between production logistics and procurement teams ensuring alignment and smooth execution of supply chain activities.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels across all warehouses to ensure adequate stock is available.
- Analyze stock data to identify risks of shortages or surpluses and implement mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Analyze stock data to identify risks of shortages or surpluses and implement mitigation strategies. Develop and maintain effective call structures to follow up with internal stakeholders driving accountability and progress.
- Collaborate with production logistics and procurement teams to align efforts and ensure material availability.
- Communicate material shortages surpluses and associated risks to relevant stakeholders with transparency and urgency.
Process Management
- Monitor and track supply plan timeliness identifying bottlenecks and working with teams to resolve delays.
- Proactively address challenges in procurement or logistics to minimize disruptions in material delivery.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze processes and workflows to identify areas for efficiency improvements in material planning and supply chain operations.
- Provide input for the development and implementation of tools or systems to enhance inventory and material planning accuracy.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: at least 1 year of experience in Inventory management procurement or supply chain management preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Skills: Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and inventory management principles excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint) and supply chain management software.
- English is a must C1 and German is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Experience in the photovoltaic or renewable energy industry.
- Certifications: Certification in supply chain management (e.g. APICS CPIM or CSCP).
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
