Given the innovative nature of the advanced analytics capabilities that have been built into the Kite cell therapy platform and current market leading sophistication of capabilities there is an opportunity to patent key elements of the platform to both create future freedom to operate and an enforceable patent moat of competitive advantage. The consultant will provide insights into the application of trade secret copyright and patent protection elements of an intellectual property strategy suitable for a sophisticated advanced analytics platform based upon experience. Approaches to interleave publication opportunities while protecting IP will also be in scope of this consulting. The scope can extend as needed to provide recommendations on platform components to consider for patentability and approaches to engaging specialty patent counsel for provisional and full utility patent filing and domestic/international filing strategies for advanced analytics patents.
