Job Description

 

The Events Registration Manager oversees all operational aspects of event registration ensuring a seamless experience for delegates and stakeholders alike. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to manage registration platforms provide exceptional customer service and deliver insightful reports that contribute to the success of AFR Lives events.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for events and a cando attitude who thrives in a fastpaced resultsoriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the registration process including delegate registration customer service for both live and virtual events and managing registration platforms such as EventsAir.
  • Work closely with Program Directors Marketing Partnerships Editorial and other internal teams to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Provide timely and effective customer service
  • Manage onsite registration and checkin
  • Produce postevent reports and analyse feedback to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices new technologies and trends in event registration 

Qualifications :

  • Experience with event registration systems (e.g. EventsAir).
  • Previous experience in the events industry particularly in registration and customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail problemsolving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience managing stakeholders.
  • A friendly and professional interpersonal style with a knack for connecting with people

Desirable:

  • Degree in Event Management or a related field (not essential).
  • Proficiency with GSuite and Office Suite.
  • An interest in business finance or politics with relevant education or training.
