Job Description

  • The DC manager will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the Distribution Center. 
  • Managing the categorywise product storage inside DC following the QA guidelines.
  • Palletization or racking of products as per category maintaining FIFO/FEFO rules as per policy.
  • The cycle count is random and 100% at the end of the month with stock reconciliation.
  • Managing the DC outbound operations daily for all the DMarts within Dhaka or outside Dhaka as per the daily stock transfer plan given by the DP team. Receiving the DC Inbound consignments daily from vendors and ensuring the barcode stickering on products as per WMS software.
  • Regular basis DC near expiry report circulation with actions taken to avoid shrinkage/writeoff.
  • Stock returns received from Dmarts for expired and damaged stocks with proper counting and explanations.
  • Managing a large team for seamless distribution operations.
  •  Managing the 3P transport vendors for outbound stock transfers and followup.
  • Managing the private labels products packaging process by daily output checks and process improvements. 
  • Managing the DCs overall operational and transport budget with regular tracking and followup. 

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree from any reputed University from any discipline. 
  • 4 to 6 Years of experience in relevant field. 
  • Expertise in warehousing management
  • Experience leading 3PL partners in FMCG or direct experience as 3PL for FMCG is desired
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently across geographic and language barriers
  • Selfstarter and independent learner focused on finding solutions
  • Ambitious selfdriven and highly motivated individual who can work well in a startup.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to enable solution identification and drive implementation across the organization
  • Ability to use data in all decisionmaking clear arguments based on costbenefit analysis
