Job Description :
- Production Planning and Scheduling:Develop and implement detailed production plans including scheduling resource allocation and capacity planning to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Quality Control:Establish and maintain quality control standards throughout the production process identifying and addressing quality issues to ensure product consistency.
- Cost Management:Monitor production costs identify areas for cost optimization and implement strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Team Leadership:Lead and motivate a team of production workers including supervisors and operators providing training and performance feedback.
- Performance Monitoring:Regularly track production metrics (e.g. output s rate cycle time) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Equipment Maintenance:Oversee the proper maintenance and upkeep of production equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Safety Compliance:Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures within the production area promoting a safe working environment.
- Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing techniques to enhance production efficiency.
- Crossfunctional Collaboration:Collaborate with other departments like engineering procurement and quality assurance to streamline production processes and resolve issues.
