ESP - Clerical

Hours: 6 hours/day

General Purpose of Job:  Candidates must be able to direct and redirect students in a confident manner; possess strong clerical skills be comfortable greeting visitors and answering phones.  In addition candidates must have a positive attitude be willing to work as part of a team and be flexible with their daily assignments.

Responsibilities: 

• Supervise students in noninstructional activities such as lunchroom office and hallways.
• Greet visitors and answer questions pertaining to the administrative function of the school. 
• Receive incoming calls from students parents/guardians etc.
• Receive and record student absences per school policy.
• Support students who are arriving late to and/or leaving early from school.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Developing collaborative working relationship with students and staff;
• Using positive behavior intervention strategies;
• Resolving conflict effectively; and communities;
• Promoting positive environments by working effectively with diverse students staff families
• Using computer software such as email Microsoft office and Google Drive;
• Organizing and managing time effectively;
• Working in a flexible and adaptable manner with a tolerance for ambiguity; and
• Modeling the attributes of an efficacious learner: resourceful selfdirected responsible problem solver and skilled communicator.
