Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients focusing on preventive care and the management of chronic conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patientcentered care effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions including but not limited to chronic diseases and acute illnesses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Provide preventive care services including vaccinations screenings and health education.
- Collaborate with specialists in areas such as Rheumatology Podiatry and Trauma medicine when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records including medical coding for billing purposes.
- Offer guidance on hospice care options for patients with terminal illnesses.
- Stay informed about advancements in medical practices including techniques such as cardiac catheterization and mammography.
- Ensure effective communication with patients regarding their health status and treatment options.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in patient care with an emphasis on preventive medicine.
- Proficiency in ventilating patient concerns and providing empathetic support.
- Experience or knowledge in hospice care practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical coding procedures to ensure accurate documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and families.
- Knowledge of specialized fields such as Rheumatology and Podiatry is advantageous.
