Job Description

FILINVEST COMPANY: CRIMSON FILINVEST CITY MANILA


Position Summary:

In accordance with the policies procedure and standards of Chroma Hospitality Inc. and Crimson Hotel Filinvest City Manila the Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for all hotel sales and marketing functions the relationship and coordination between the hotel Sales & Events Division and CFCMs Marketing Team and to maximize the hotel revenue market share and optimize profit return.

  • Leads and champions achievement of goals of the Sales & Marketing Division
  • Follows through all actions required by the General Manager.
  • Takes actions on all matters related to revenue management sales events and communication.
  • Oversees revenue generation initiatives of the hotel in coordination with the other Division heads.
  • Practices and rolemodels the Guiding Principles and the Core Values of Crimson Hotels & Resorts.
  • Be environmentally friendly reduce waste recycle when possible and reuse whenever applicable.


Scopes and Responsibilities:

  • Develop implement and keep current the Hotel Marketing Plan and Events Management Process Manual.
  • Maintain awareness of current and future competitors product pricing and Sales and Marketing programs so as to proactively respond to market conditions.
  • Establishes and maintains accurate forecasting procedures.
  • Establishes priorities and objectives for all Sales and Marketing programs monitoring functions and adjusting resources as deemed necessary so as to develop marketing leadership and optimal productivity.
  • Implement Marketing policies and procedures of the hotel and of Crimson in coordination with the Director of Marketing & Communications.
  • Stay current with the needs of the market competitive initiatives and the effectiveness of our program such as Value Rate and other marketing campaigns etc. through regular involvement with key accounts.
  • Personally handles and supervise Account Handlers of key accounts in each of the hotels major contributing marketing segment.
  • Actively gets involve with sales solicitation of major accounts.
  • Assists the members of the Sales and Marketing team and other departments in securing business for all revenue generating centers.
  • Conducts monthly account reviews with the Sales team.
  • Drives Outbound CrossSelling activities of the hotel.
  • Drives the Global Signature Program as property level.
  • Staff the hotel Sales and Marketing division and assure proper delegation of authority to execute programs as outlined in the Marketing Plan.
  • Establishes position descriptions specifications and performance standards.
  • (Performance Development Review) for all Sales and Marketing Division personnel within Crimson Hotel Filinvest City Manila guidelines.
  • With guidance of the VP of Sales & Marketing Corporate recruit hire and lead Sales and Marketing personnel and maintain semiannual evaluation of their performance.
  • Establish and implement training programs to improve performance and effectiveness of Sales and Marketing personnel as guided by Chroma Hospitality Inc.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of the sales event management reservations and communication staff to maximize revenues.
  • Develop effective office organization and procedures to support the Sales and Marketing efforts.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of business sources and pattern to facilitate analysis of situations and develop of plans.
  • Set objectives for guide and manage the provision of advertising publicity and promotional services called for in the Marketing Plan.
  • Prepare and administer the Marketing budget and execute programs within the limits as outlined in the Profit Plan.
  • To create a working relationship that emphasizes a high degree of professionalism and openness of interdepartmental communications and understanding.
  • To prioritize marketing support according to prevailing and anticipated market conditions by allocating resources and funds against areas which will provide the hotel with the most efficient revenue performance.
  • Conduct regular Sales & Marketing meetings.
  • Builds positive working relationships with all departments of the hotel assure understanding of Sales and Marketing programs and the wants needs and expectations of customers or guests.
  • Maintain active communication with and builds teamwork among sales marketing events management communications and reservations personnel so as to achieve commitment to the overall Sales and Marketing objective of the hotel and their role in achieving them.
  • Maintains positive communications with corporate sales offices central reservations other Chroma Hospitality Inc properties and Corporate Marketing resources.
  • Develop open communications and close rapport with General Manager and the VPSM.
  • Responsible for final decision on staff movements discusses with the General Manager and other members of Executive Committee as may be needed by then situation. Proactively looks for ways to maximize staff output without compromising standards.


Qualifications:

  • College graduate in Degree in Business Administration or Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years in the capacity of Sales Manager with multisegment responsibilities
  • Minimum 1 year experience as Director of Sales or Assistant Director of Sales in similar class hotel
  • Currently employee in a deluxe hotel
  • Well adept in MS Programs i.e. MS Word Excel and Powerpoint
  • Analytical and detailoriented Relationship skills
  • Technically savvy
