Job Description
We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team and contribute to the development customization and maintenance of WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have experience in frontend and backend development theme and plugin customization and an understanding of SEO best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain WordPress websites with a focus on performance and user experience.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Ensure website functionality and stability across devices browsers and operating systems.
- Implement SEO best practices to optimize website performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues bugs and security vulnerabilities.
- Develop and integrate APIs and thirdparty services.
- Optimize website speed performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with designers marketers and other developers to create highquality web solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends technologies and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.
- Proficiency in HTML CSS JavaScript and PHP.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development and customization.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and thirdparty integrations.
- Knowledge of MySQL databases and database optimization.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
- Experience with page builders like Elementor WPBakery or Gutenberg.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with WooCommerce and eCommerce development.
- Knowledge of server management and hosting environments.
- Familiarity with performance optimization tools (e.g. caching CDN minification).
- Understanding of security best practices for WordPress sites.
- Experience with headless WordPress or integrating WordPress with modern frontend frameworks.
