Job Description
TPF Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a highly successful chartered accountancy practice based in Sittingbourne. Our client is looking for an experienced bookkeeper with accountancy practice experience to join their successful team. This will be a handson position where you will have your own client allocation and provide a mixed array of bookkeeping VAT and cloud software services to a varied portfolio of clients. You will use Xero and QuickBooks software as well as many other cloud softwares and training can be provided if necessary.
Our client has an excellent team and a relaxed but ambitious working environment. They also have a very sizeable and interesting client portfolio above what youd expect from a local firm of accountants. There will be an occasional requirement to travel to clients premises but the majority of the work will be office based.
Both full time and parttime applicants will be considered.
- Client bookkeeping
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and potentially CIS returns
- Support clients on a variety of accounting software including Xero QuickBooks Sage Dext Freeagent Kashflow etc
- Assisting with or preparing monthly management accounts
Requirements
- You will be AAT qualified or qualified by experience and have experience of bookkeeping and preparing vat returns within an accountancy practice.
- You will have a minimum of 3 years experience and knowledge of cloud accounting software would be advantageous.
- Both full time and parttime applicants will be considered.

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
