Role holders will be responsible for operating/controlling/maintaining complex equipment and monitoring its operation so that the product quality and inventory is maintained.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Diploma degree.
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the same field.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
Plant Operations.
Manufacturing Process.
Operational Safety.
Fluency in English language with excellent communication (written & oral) skills.
Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Machine Operation
Operate production machines: Set up, start, and operate machinery and equipment used in the production process, such as conveyors, mixers, packaging machines, and other production equipment.
Monitor machine performance: Continuously monitor the machines to ensure they are operating correctly and efficiently, adjusting settings when necessary to maintain product quality and output.
Troubleshoot machine issues: Identify and troubleshoot problems with machinery, such as malfunctions or breakdowns, and make minor repairs or adjustments to keep production running smoothly.
Production Monitoring
Monitor production lines: Oversee the production process from start to finish, ensuring that production targets and timelines are met while maintaining product quality.
Adjust production parameters: Adjust machine settings, speed, and processes as needed to optimize production flow and meet quality specifications.
Record production data: Document key production information, such as quantities produced, machine performance, downtime, and any issues encountered during production.
Quality Control
Ensure product quality: Inspect products during the production process to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. This may include visual checks, measurements, or testing for defects.
Conduct quality tests: Perform routine quality checks, such as checking weight, dimensions, or functionality, and report any deviations or issues to supervisors.
Correct defects: If products do not meet quality standards, adjust machine settings or report issues to supervisors for corrective action.
