Electrical Technician

Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking for a motivated Senor Electrical Technician who is responsible in carrying out maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, automation, and instrumentation of equipment.

In this role, you will be responsible of:

• Carry out maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, automation, and instrumentation of equipment applied by industrial motor controls, chemical feed systems, pump drives, water chillers and ACs.

• Perform maintenance, repair, and upgrade of the water supply area on electrical distribution infrastructure.

• Carry out electrical distribution panels and motor control

• Troubleshoot problems by gathering and analyzing power quality data

• Ensure longer life of long running equipment and save funds by carrying out detailed troubleshooting down to component levels

• Perform maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of control centers, de-energized higher voltage equipment, and motors

• Repair and maintain engine generators and carry out work on related control circuit equipment

• Carry out maintenance, repair, and installation of building circuits and similar equipment

• Perform maintenance of alarm systems, electrical pneumatic and electronic controls, programmable controls, and other similar equipment

• Carry out necessary carpentry, welding, valve repair, cement, and pipe fitting work

• Prepare reports, maintain records, and requisition supplies and parts

• Inspect and supervise work done by external vendors.

Desired candidate profile

Relevant Certification from a recognized institution.

Installation of Electrical Systems
Install electrical components: Install wiring, circuits, outlets, switches, and other electrical equipment in new constructions, renovations, or upgrades to existing systems.
Set up electrical systems: Assist in setting up electrical systems for machinery, equipment, and infrastructure, including control panels, lighting systems, power distribution systems, etc.
Read blueprints and diagrams: Interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics to ensure proper installation of electrical systems and components.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Perform routine maintenance: Carry out regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
Identify and diagnose issues: Identify faults or malfunctioning components in electrical systems by troubleshooting wiring, circuits, equipment, or panels.
Repair electrical systems: Repair or replace faulty electrical systems, wiring, circuits, and devices to restore functionality.
Test electrical systems: Test systems after repairs or maintenance work to ensure that everything is operating as expected and in compliance with safety standards.
