We are now looking for a Sales & Marketing Controller Finance Business Development to join our dynamic team in Gothenburg Sweden. The Responsibilities
As our Sales & Marketing Controller Finance Business Development you will be a key driver in shaping and supporting commercial operations with datadriven business cases and strategic decision materials. You will play a crucial role in connecting strategies across new vehicle sales financing insurance used cars and renewalsbuilding a fully integrated value chain ecosystem. This role requires close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders ensuring a seamless approach between corporate strategy and market execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Support operational strategy to maximize financial value and business efficiency.
- Develop and implement ecosystembased commercial strategies.
- Identify and establish new business models and revenue streams (NGA/Wholesale).
- Align business cases with financial processes ensuring compliance with SOX regulations.
- Deliver actionable insights to optimize processes and decisionmaking.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth crossfunctional collaboration.
- Define and implement agile processes that drive efficiency and business impact.
- Remove roadblocks and enable seamless execution of commercial strategies.
- Expand and strengthen the Polestar ecosystem in both local markets and HQ perspectives.
The Ideal Candidate
You bring a proven ability to assess and shape future business models identifying new revenue opportunities with a strategic and forwardthinking approach. Combining creativity with analytical precision you excel at evaluating innovative business concepts and translating them into actionable strategies.
With a strong foundation in financial and business acumen you have extensive experience in commercial operations including controlling financial analysis and legal agreements. Your expertise in businessoriented finance roles particularly within the automotive and mobility sectors has given you a deep understanding of industry dynamics sales channels and revenue models.
You are a proactive problemsolver with strong project management skills and navigate complex challenges with efficiency and adaptability. Additionally your knowledge of local and global compliance requirements including SOX regulations ensures operational integrity and regulatory alignment.
Who You Are
- A seasoned finance and business professional with 510 years of experience in the automotive or commercial sector.
- Experience in project management or management consulting is a plus.
- Accounting knowledge is an advantage.
- Highly structured with the ability to see the bigger picture.
- A strategic thinker who can pinpoint different perspectives and drive futureproof solutions.
- Skilled in crafting compelling business cases designing robust financial models and delivering impactful analytics that drive strategic decisions.
- An excellent communicator who thrives in crossfunctional and multicultural environments.
- Businesssavvy motivated and determined to make an impact.
