Some manual labor lifting and pulling in wiring area.
**Previous wiring experience required**
What youll do:
The Assembler IV is responsible for a wide range of skills including wiring assembling
fitting and mounting subassemblies components and standard fixed assemblies in
electrical control equipment. Perform assembly or wiring required for test preparation
and final inspection. Perform all assignments within the acceptable quantity and perfect
quality requirements in keeping with assigned functions.
In this function you will:
Perform the assigned function from oral and/or written instructions drawings and
wiring schematics.
Use various tools such as wire strippers crimpers wire cutters impact guns drills
and pliers to assemble switchboards electrical wiring.
Handle materials following established procedures.
Maintain expected progress of jobs in the area of assignment and communicate
problem areas or parts shortages.
Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment tools and
work area clean and orderly by performing 5S duties and continued dedication to
raising the bar.
Lift 35 lbs. with reasonable accommodation as required.
Perform other functions and/or tasks as assigned
Flexing into other functions of the business
Ability to be a team player and work independently with a sense of urgency
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the
immediate area of the Eaton El Paso TX facility (50mile radius) will be considered for
this position. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the
geographical area limitation
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company
sponsorship
Must meet ONE of the following qualifications:
1 year of electrical wiring experience OR
A completed technical degree in a related field OR
Connectors I & II certifications AND 1 year of experience as an Assembler III
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of wiring experience
2 years of assembly experience
Demonstrated knowledge of wiring assembly

Willing to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs.
Proficient with computer operation and programs including Microsoft Office Suite
(Outlook Word Excel) and SharePoint.
Must work somewhat independently and make decisions that affect the workgroup.
Focus efforts on attaining assigned goals and objectives which include meeting the
needs and expectations of internal and external customers.
