Pricing & Promotions Analyst: Optimize and implement pricing and promotion strategies in support of business objectives. Partner with departments to analyze market trends product volumes profit margins competitor and retailer dynamics promotional tactics and longterm pricing and promo strategies. Provide recommendations on the creation and executions of specific pricing and promotional trade strategies. Manage the operational pricing recommendation and promo oversight cadence including routine pricing recommendations pricing rules execution and coordination. Create and monitor KPIs to track the performance of inmarket pricing actions. Utilize available tools and data sets to make clear and concise factdriven recommendations. Perform adhoc analysis and works on special project in support of Schnucks revenue management initiatives and the needs of the SMIs Merchandising solutions team. Actively monitor business performance and competitive landscape to recommend coursecorrections. Collaborate with management to effectively communicate findings recommendations and business cases to Merchandising and crossfunctional teams. Requires Master of Science degree in Business Analytics Applied Statistics or a closelyrelated field; Strong working knowledge of and proficiency using advanced analytics tools (Alteryx Nielsen and IRI) programming languages (Python and SQL) and data visualization tools (Tableau and PowerBI); and demonstrated ability to build and manage business/financial models for pricing/product analysis and problem solving through coursework training internships or experience.
