Job Description
Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute detailed test plans test cases and test scripts based on product requirements and user stories.
- Perform functional regression integration and performance testing.
- Identify document and track defects working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Review and analyze product requirements and specifications to ensure they align with test coverage.
- Collaborate with developers product managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the development cycle.
- Participate in code reviews and sprint planning meetings to provide input on testing requirements.
- Continuously improve test processes and methodologies including automation testing practices where appropriate.
- Maintain detailed records of test results including logging defects and providing recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or in a similar testing role.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing.
- Experience in test management tools (e.g. JIRA TestRail etc.).
- Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g. Java Python JavaScript) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Experience with continuous integration and automated testing frameworks
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
