Job Description
Job Title: Deployment Engineer Network
Job Location: SF Bay Area CA (onsite)
Expected Contract Length/Duration: 6 months
Overview:
AP Recruiters is seeking an experienced and bilingual (Spanish/English) Deployment Engineer specializing in network deployments with strong expertise in Mellanox technologies. This role will focus on designing implementing and supporting network deployments ensuring reliable and optimized performance across client infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have handson experience with Mellanox products a thorough understanding of networking concepts and a strong ability to troubleshoot and support complex network environments. Occasional travel to Mexico is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan design and deploy network solutions utilizing Mellanox hardware and technologies.
- Configure test and support InfiniBand and Ethernet solutions ensuring optimal performance for client requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project needs propose tailored solutions and provide guidance on best practices.
- Perform onsite installations configurations and troubleshooting as needed.
- Monitor and maintain network deployments to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to client teams for ongoing support and operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve networkrelated issues maintaining clear documentation and escalation protocols.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (engineering support and project management) to streamline deployment processes and improve efficiency.
- Travel occasionally to client sites in Mexico to provide handson support and ensure successful deployment outcomes.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with Cumulus OS OSFP BGP and campus WAN is a MUST.
- 3 years of experience in network engineering or deployment with a strong emphasis on Mellanox technologies.
- Handson experience with InfiniBand and Ethernet solutions switches and related networking hardware.
- Indepth understanding of networking protocols network configuration and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Mellanox hardware and tools (e.g. Mellanox OFED SwitchX Spectrum).
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to Mexico for projectbased assignments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automation tools and scripting (Python Ansible etc.) to streamline deployment processes.
- Familiarity with other networking hardware and technologies (Cisco Juniper etc.).
- Certifications in network engineering (CCNA CCNP etc.) are a plus.

This is not a direct hire role it is an hourly consulting position with World Wide Technology.Reflik shall be the employer of record for the candidate selected for this role (i.e. Reflik will hire the contingent worker as a W2 employee and pay the salary benefits workers compensation etc.)Corptocorp or subcontracting for this role is not permissible.You will be eligible to receive referral reward up to the end of 6 months from candidates start date or until the end of the assignment whichever is earlier.If the client decides to hire candidate fulltime during the contract tenure you will receive 50% of any applicable conversion fee paid to Reflik.You will receive the referral reward indicated based on the candidates hourly pay rate based on actual hours worked.Reflik will pay you the referral reward after the client has paid Reflik for the hours worked by the candidate.

Reflik will pay this amount to consultant for each work hour documented in clients timesheet.

This is the duration of the contract i.e. how long will the consultant work on client project.
