Job Description
Our company has a client in Houston TX that is seeking a Senior Project Manager with expertise in Data Migration and System Integration to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have handson experience in data migration processes and be adept in systems integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage data migration and system integration projects from inception to completion
- Develop and execute project plans including scope schedule budget resource allocation and deliverables
- Oversee data conversion and migration strategy ensuring data integrity quality and consistency throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including IT business analysts and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of project objectives
- Utilize knowledge of Retail Electricity or Natural Gas markets in deregulated environments to inform project strategy and execution
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in data handling and system integration processes
- Provide regular project updates status reports and detailed documentation for senior management and stakeholders
- Foster a collaborative and resultsoriented work environment mentoring and guiding team members as needed
Required Skills : * Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Information Technology Engineering or a related field * PMP or other relevant project management certification is preferred * Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management with a focus on data migration and system integration projects * Proven experience in Retail Electricity or Natural Gas markets specifically in deregulated environments such as ERCOT and PJM markets * Strong understanding of data migration methodologies tools and best practices * Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Microsoft Project JIRA Trello) * Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills * Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
