Job Description
Job Title: Certified Dental Assistant
Location: Harlem MT
Start Date: May 2025
Shift Schedule: Monday Friday 40hr/week
Qualification:
- Education: Completion of an accredited dental assisting program (CODA) Preferred.
- Certification: Active Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) BLS
- License: A current valid unrestricted any state dental assistant license
- Experience: Minimum 2 year of clinical experience as a Dental Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during procedures ensuring patient comfort and proper instrument handling.
- Prepare treatment rooms sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental Xrays ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.
- Perform chairside assisting and anticipate the dentists needs during treatments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene postoperative care and preventive dental health.
- Manage dental records treatment plans and patient histories in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Mix dental materials prepare impression trays and handle lab work as needed.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure proper restocking.
- Follow HIPAA and OSHA guidelines for patient confidentiality and workplace safety.
