At JDE Peets were on a mission to deliver innovative solutions to delight coffee lovers around the globe. Were looking for an R&D Equipment Development Specialist to join our Single Serve team and help us create the next generation of coffee appliances.
What Youll Do
As an R&D Equipment Development Specialist youll play a critical role in driving our appliance innovation agenda in the following way:
- Lead or support technology projects from concept to prototype up to Proof of Principle/Proof of Function.
- Design and execute validation tests for technology demonstrators and prototypes.
- Be a sparring partner for our global coffee appliance suppliers and innovation partners.
- Provide consultation to other R&D members and JDE employees on operational issues.
- Contribute to impactful New Product Development (NPD) projects.
- Develop and maintain a network of external experts and suppliers.
- Generate internal reports and knowledge books.
- Scout for new relevant technologies and conduct competitor surveillance.
- Initiate and manage patent ideation to protect our innovations

Qualifications :
To excel in this role youll need:
- 7 years of experience in the design of mechanics electronics or both.
- A Masters or Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- A passion for translating technology into business opportunities.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to balance innovative ideas with practical execution.
- A flair for identifying trends dissecting competitor appliances and generating valuable insights.
