Job Description
Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Job Type: Temporary fixed term
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours per week)
Job Location: Hebden Bridge
As a Laboratory Technician you will assist the team in delivering an efficient high quality food allergen and authenticity analysis using ELISA and DNA/protein based methodologies
- Accurately follow laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures for the preparation and extraction of samples for analysis
- Working to strict deadlines to ensure compliance
- Complete all laboratory documentation in a timely and compliant manner
- To assist with sample registration using internal system as and when required
Qualifications :
- Knowledge of allergen testing in food highly advantageous
- Previous Laboratory experience essential
- Qualifications within Chemistry / Bio Chemistry / Biology essential
