Sales Representative is designed to assist the Sales Section Head in all sales and related and provide full administrative support to the Sales Department to relieve them of administrative workload allowing them to focus on Sales priorities.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the execution and monitoring of the sales activities in an assigned region to achieve the sales targets.
Issue the Proforma Invoices, Sales Orders, etc. in line with the instructions from the Sales Section Head according the agreed monthly sales plan.
Ensure the payments are concluded and verified by instructing agents or customers.
Advise agents and customers about product information or tentative shipment schedules in response to their queries.
Respond to customers and agent’s inquiries regarding product information timely and quickly.
Update records of Sales orders and related shipment information in the database timely and accurately and present it to the Sales Manager for information.
Update customer information in the database timely and accurately
Assist the section head to keep good business relationships in the market which support the sales performance.
Carry out any other related Sales Administration tasks and activities as instructed by the Sales team from time to time.
Update the customers about their sales orders status to ensure the shipment will be delivered on time.
Provide all the information that required for product complaint investigation and follow up with the concerned departments to unsure the complaint is finalized within the agreed processing time.
Coordinate with all related departments like logistics, Customer service, Finance, etc. in order to ensure the timely completion of the end-to- end sales.
Customer Acquisition and Lead Generation
Identify prospects: Research and identify potential customers or businesses who might benefit from the company’s products or services.
Generate leads: Use various channels such as cold calling, email marketing, social media, trade shows, and networking to generate new leads and build a pipeline of potential sales opportunities.
Qualify leads: Assess the quality and viability of leads to determine their potential as customers and prioritize high-value prospects.
Build relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts to foster trust and open communication.
Sales Presentations and Demonstrations
Present products or services: Conduct product or service presentations to prospective clients, demonstrating how they meet their needs and solve their challenges.
Provide solutions: Understand the customer’s pain points and tailor the sales pitch to offer the most appropriate solution, highlighting product features and benefits.
Demonstrate value: Clearly articulate the value proposition of the product or service, focusing on the benefits and how they align with the client’s goals.
Handle objections: Address and resolve any concerns or objections that prospects may have during the sales process, ensuring that their questions are answered satisfactorily.
Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical/Industrial or Bachelor of Marketing /Business Adminsitration
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
Negotiation and Closing Sales
Negotiate terms: Discuss pricing, terms, and conditions with customers, working to find a mutually beneficial agreement.
Close deals: Persuade customers to make purchasing decisions, and convert leads into sales by finalizing agreements, contracts, and orders.
Follow up: Contact prospects who have shown interest but have not yet made a purchase to keep the conversation moving toward closing a deal.
Meet sales targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and goals set by management, contributing to the company’s revenue growth.
Customer Retention and Account Management
Build long-term relationships: Stay in regular contact with existing customers to ensure satisfaction, address any issues, and offer additional products or services as appropriate.
Upsell and cross-sell: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell complementary products or services to existing customers, increasing the lifetime value of each account.
Resolve issues: Address customer complaints, issues, or concerns promptly and professionally to maintain positive relationships and customer loyalty.
Provide post-sale support: Ensure smooth transitions from the sales process to the delivery or implementation phase, assisting with any questions or needs the customer may have.
