ABOUT THE CLIENT


Our client one of the leading garment manufacturers in Africa specializing in the mass production of garments and clothing for fashion brands schools security agencies and corporate organizations is currently seeking suitable candidates for the role of Business Development Manager who will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth maximize revenue and ensure profitability.


JOB SUMMARY


This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who is passionate about growing a brand in contract manufacturing and is eager to make an impact in a fastpaced highend market. It also requires a dynamic entrepreneurial individual who understands the fashion contract manufacturing industry and can build strong relationships with key stakeholders including local businesses influencers and organizations to build brand awareness and strengthen market positioning.

If garment manufacturing textiles and clothing interest you and you have the experience to drive growth in these areas then this opportunity is for you. Youll need to collaborate across teams manage projects and stay results focused while keeping an eye on style and aesthetics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Identify and develop highimpact strategic alliances with leading organizations in key sectors such as education energy finance and manufacturing.

  • Focus on creating synergistic partnerships that deliver significant value to both parties leveraging market insights and negotiation expertise to achieve optimal deal structures.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Also attend trade shows industry events and conferences to promote the companys services and build relationships with potential clients

  • Work closely with the marketing team to strengthen brand positioning and awareness through targeted campaigns events and collaborations with influencers and celebrities.

  • Build and manage relationships with retail and wholesale partners ensuring consistent product availability and superior brand representation

  • Conduct regular market research to understand customer needs competitor activity and industry trends. Leverage insights to adjust strategies and capitalize on market shifts.

  • Develop and manage budgets for business development initiatives ensuring efficient allocation of resources.





Requirements

WHAT TO HAVE




  • A proactive individual with a proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on strategic partnership opportunities demonstrating strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.

  • A businessoriented person who is well adept at crafting compelling pitch decks proposals presentations and other documentation as needed to effectively communicate the value proposition of our partnerships to customers and clients. Strong writing and visual communication skills are essential.

  • 5 years of experience in business development sales or related roles preferably in contract manufacturing.

  • Proven track record of successfully expanding business in competitive markets.

  • Strong understanding of the fashion manufacturing processes and supply chain management

  • Exceptional negotiation communication and relationshipbuilding skills.

  • Ability to travel domestically may be required

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
