Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In this role your main responsibilities will include
- Planning curriculum lessons and special education programs using effective teaching methods.
- Maintaining regular contact with parents and involving them in their childs educational progress.
- Ensuring the classroom environment is wellorganized and conducive to learning.
- Instructing individuals and groups in various special education skill areas.
- Modifying curriculum according to individualized education plans (IEPs) and conducting testing evaluations.
Requirements
- Candidate must have MA DESE License in Severe Needs
- Bachelors degree is required with preferred classroom experience
- 2 year of experience working as a special education teacher
- Experience with supported inclusion and specialized instruction
- Strong knowledge of social thinking executive functioning and emotional regulation
- Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and its classroom implementation
- Ability to integrate reinforcement systems and consistent behavior management programs

Active Special Education Teacher License in MA (for moderate or severe disabilities). Bachelor's degree required; prior classroom experience preferred. Experience in Teaching.
