As a Big Data Engineer you will be responsible for designing and developing data pipelines using Python and Dataproc/DataFlow/Composer. Your role involves performing moderate to complex data transformations and derivations. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Design and develop data pipelines in Python.
Load data from disparate sources and preprocess it .
Provide data engineering expertise to multiple teams across the organization.
Lead efforts to document sourcetotarget mappings and design logical data models.
Optimize data performance and ease of use.
Collaborate with other designers and architects within Business Intelligence and IT.
Qualifications:
Relevant education (Bachelors or Masters Degree) in Computer Science Engineering Statistics or related fields.
Proficiency in SQL Python.
Familiarity with distributed systems and data architecture.
Experience working in cloud environments (e.g. GCP).
Strong algorithmic concepts in computer science
