Job Summary: Ellucian Banner Developer.
Location: Hyderbad/Bangalore
We are seeking a highly skilled Ellucian Banner Developer with specialized experience in the design customization and development of various Ellucian Banner ERP modules. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing the Banner ERP system to streamline administrative operations focusing on optimizing and expanding functionality within the framework of the specific modules.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain Ellucian Banner ERP modules ensuring high usability and performance.
Configure and extend Ellucian Banner functionality using Ellucians extensibility tools and best practices.
Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze requirements specific to Banner workflows and customizations.
Troubleshoot debug and resolve technical issues related to various Banner modules ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Optimize existing Banner modules by implementing updates applying patches and enhancing performance.
Develop and maintain scripts and customizations using relevant tools to support various Banner modules.
Ensure that Banner modules comply with institutional data governance security and accessibility standards.
Provide technical guidance and training to endusers for Banner functionalities and enhancements.
Document technical solutions workflows and configurations for effective knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Worked on Banner 9 module development using Java J2EE Spring Maven Jenkins Morphis Framework Angular JS Node JS Groovy Grails Oracle Putty Eclipse IntelliJ GIT.
Strong experience in Ellucian Banner ERP specifically in the development and customization of modules such as Student Finance HR Financial Aid and Advancement.
Handson expertise with Ellucian Extensibility Framework including the use of tools like Page Builder and Admin Page Tools.
Proficiency in Oracle SQL PL/SQL Java and Ellucianspecific scripting frameworks.
Experience with tools like Form Fusion Argos or similar solutions for reporting and customization.
Solid understanding of Banner architecture particularly as it relates to various modules and integration points.
Knowledge of data validation forms design and workflow automation within Banner modules.
Experience working on system upgrades patches and new module rollouts with a focus on functionality.
Familiarity with data security practices and compliance standards for higher education institutions.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across departments.
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating thirdparty systems with Ellucian Banner.
Knowledge of HTML5 CSS and JavaScript for interface enhancements.
Prior experience working in higher education or similar administrative environments.
Certification in Ellucian products or other relevant technologies is a plus.
