Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Javascript and Node.js) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Own Development Delivery (CI/CD) and Quality assurance on web and native app.
- Build and shape our most impactful features that solve our customers biggest challenges across our web and native app experiences.
- Leverage AI to optimize our internal development processes and user experiences on the platform.
- R&D solutions and provide clear decisionmaking inputs to the leadership team.
- Build and maintain integration capabilities.
- Own Delivery velocity quality and efficiency (and the performance management and optimization of all 3).
- Own the quality of the code base ensure it is kept to the highest standards.
- See around corners for platform concerns performance security tech debt etc.
- Be the point person for any product issues or emergencies (own the processes).
- Ensure that the Product is instrumented suitably to capture the data required to understand how to improve velocity quality and efficiency
- Understand the dynamics of enterprise platforms and the requirements needed to drive optimal performance and user engagement.
- Determine resource requirements and skillsets to deliver the roadmap..
- Manage priorities & decisions based on factors such as delivery effort cost timelines technical capabilities customer / partner requests buildvsbuy competitive landscape and technical debt.
- Ensure that the infrastructure is architected to handle rapid growth securely.
Requirements
- You have exceptional full stack engineering skills and you ve worked in software engineering for 4 years.
- You love solving problems and always find ways to exceed customer and stakeholder expectation.
- You have experience with 3rd party integrations and designing product that is able to integrate with other applications.
- You think AI first and have experience building AI into product.
- You have a huge appetite for work high standards and an attention to detail.
- You re an overachiever and aggressively curious.
- You have strong product opinions loosely held and are obsessive about user experience while remaining pragmatic in balancing priorities.
- You have a history of Developing products in high pace release and launch environments.
- You are experienced in developing and maintaining modern mobile and web applications using our tech stack & feature set.
- You re comfortable thinking slowly and moving quickly (in an everchanging environment).
- You ve developed and maintained scalable infrastructures with Azure (or equivalent solutions).
- You can leverage Figma to ensure the highest quality designs are implemented with the minimum amount of effort.
- Evaluating and clearly communicating technical requirements is second nature.
- You ve been in the trenches managing three or more development work streams managing Development Delivery (CI/CD) and Quality assurance ensuring that deadlines & milestones are met.
- You have an understanding of security best practices a healthy paranoia around customer data and experience dealing with GDPR CCPA HIPAA ISO and SOC2 on at least one product.
- You ve built analytics and data pipelines to help product teams make informed decisions on customer acquisition marketing and user behavior.
