Job Description
Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Location: Somerville MA (onsite)
Expected Contract Length/Duration: 6 months
Overview:
Join our clients dynamic finance team as an Accounts Payable Specialist! This midsenior level role is perfect for someone with a knack for numbers and a passion for accuracy. Youll be working in a fastpaced environment handling highvolume invoices and maintaining vendor relationships. If you have a strong background in Accounts Payable and are proficient with Excel and SAP we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Process highvolume invoices through a cloudbased endtoend purchase requisition to invoice system with exceptional speed and accuracy.
- Maintain Accounts Payable sub ledger within the SAP financial system.
- Process and administer payment runs ensuring proper approvals have been obtained before payment.
- Verify and maintain vendor setup in all relevant systems ensuring proper documentation compliance.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements to investigate discrepancies.
- Maintained vendor relationships and administered invoices from paperbased vendors.
- Provide backup support and crosstraining for other Accounts Payable team members.
- Partner with the Accounts Payable team to increase efficiencies in daytoday processes.
- Assist in preparing periodic tax filings as needed.
- Participate in ad hoc requests and special projects as needed.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
- 35 years of Accounts Payable experience.
- Functional with Excel.
- Must be a team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Superb attention to detail.
- Ability to work within a fastpaced environment.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Canada provincial sales tax experience is a plus.
- Canada T4A/Releve 1 experience is a plus.
- 1099 processing experience preferred.

This is not a direct hire role it is an hourly consulting position with Cobra Puma Golf.Reflik shall be the employer of record for the candidate selected for this role (i.e. Reflik will hire the contingent worker as a W2 employee and pay the salary benefits workers compensation etc.)Corptocorp or subcontracting for this role is not permissible.You will be eligible to receive referral reward up to the end of 6 months from candidates start date or until the end of the assignment whichever is earlier.If the client decides to hire candidate fulltime during the contract tenure you will receive 50% of any applicable conversion fee paid to Reflik.You will receive the referral reward indicated based on the candidates hourly pay rate based on actual hours worked.Reflik will pay you the referral reward after the client has paid Reflik for the hours worked by the candidate.
