Job Description

Steeplejack Operations Assistant
30000 per year
Nottingham

Here at Kamro we have partnered up with a dynamic specialist contracting company that is on the lookout for an Operations Assistant to support their Steeplejack division to assist with the day to day running of our specialist access activities.

About the Role:

As a Steeplejack Operations Assistant you will play a key role in supporting the operations team with a range of administrative and operational duties. This includes coordinating equipment managing schedules and assisting with daytoday project requirements. Your ability to stay organized and communicate effectively with both the field teams and clients will be essential for ensuring smooth project delivery. .

Our client a wellrespected company within the contracting sector specialising in providing highquality services including Steeplejack lightning protection earthing and structural maintenance. With an impressive portfolio of projects across industries such as power engineering and infrastructure they are known for their commitment to safety innovation and customer satisfaction. The company prides itself on fostering a supportive collaborative work environment where each team member is valued and encouraged to grow.

Working Hours:

This is a fulltime role Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

5 days a week in the office based in Nottingham

Key Duties:

  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating the daytoday operations of the Steeplejack team

  • Provide administrative support to ensure all project documentation is completed accurately and on time

  • Report Writing using information received from Site teams.

  • Record keeping and analytics using and creating Excel spreadsheets

  • Purchasing and invoicing

  • Organising access equipment materials and stock.

  • Leasing with customers and worksite team

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an operations or administrative support role ideally within a construction or engineering environment

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • IT and Computer literate

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
